Oshkosh : Wisconsin

Oshkosh is a county seat of Winnebago County. The community was named after Menominee chief. Oshkosh is on Lake Winnebago in the heart of the Fox River Valley. Oshkosh was first incorporated in 1853.

Oshkosh covers a total area of 63.2 km² (24.4 mi²) of which 61.2 km² (23.6 mi²) of it is land and 2.0 km² (0.8 mi²) of it (3.20%) is water.

Oshkosh receives an average snowfall of 46 inches and rainfall of 28.4 inches every year. The average winter daytime temperature hovers around 18.8 degrees F while that of summer is around 73 degrees F.
