Madison : Wisconsin

Madison is the capital of Wisconsin and also the seat of Dane County. The city was founded on a narrow isthmus of land called Four Lakes Isthmus between two Lake Mendota and Lake Monona. It has an impressive Capitol Building surrounded with beautiful parks and boulevards. Madison is the base of the University of Wisconsin, a nationally respected research institution known for a tradition of academic excellence.
