Introduction Madison is the capital of Wisconsin and also the seat of Dane County. The city was founded on a narrow isthmus of land called Four Lakes Isthmus between two Lake Mendota and Lake Monona. It has an impressive Capitol Building surrounded with beautiful parks and boulevards.
